Hi Jim. Love the set mate. The first two will make your friends very happy. I like the white vignetting on these two as it makes the shots more Christmasy (is there such a word?). Like Steve said, you are such a valuable member on this site as you are supportive, and always willing to help people, or provide advice/ suggestions. On this set I have to give the edge to the food shots. They are unbelievable in terms of colour contrast, composition, and innovation. You are a pioneer in photography and I love that you are always trying something different. Before I forget, congratulations on you 2000th post. I look forward to seeing the next thousand!

Wonderful shots, all of them. Now I want a burger, REALLY bad.

I also would like to thank you for all the encouragement and tips you have given along the way. I love how we all learn from each other here. Gives me warm fuzzies daily.

A big concrats on reaching 2000 Jim, you are are wonderful person that clearly shows through your photography and your sense of humour. The christmas photos are brilliant and a wonderful idea for those who receive a copy. I like the selective colouring on the first burger shot and the capture of the drip in the second. Thanks for being a fantastic friend Jim and I look forward to seeing many more of your shots and reading your kind, encouring comments.

Congrats Jim. for reaching 2000. It's all about the journey right, and that's is the reason we've been coming back to DPS everyday.

It's so nice of you not to charge them. I see you're already in the holiday spirit.

I like the composition of the burger shot. It look satisfying and really send the message.

I didn't want to waste space on this thread, so rather than quote everybody, I've made a list of everyone I'd like to thank thus far for your ever so kind words, congrats, and support. Every picture I shoot is a little piece of every one of you, and many, many others here on DPS.

So, thank you David, Steve, Duane, Nicky, Nikki, Bernz, Brian, HeaterGuy, Paul, Leona, Zannie, Gary, Angella, Linda, Shirley, Mike, Helen, Stormfan, Paul, FBH, Angela, Sparda, Dragon, AC, and last but certainly not least…Jennie (deep breath!!!)

You all are very talented and it's been a pleasure riding down the two way commentary street! My website dedication to all my DPS is certainly not unfounded!!

Keep up the great work!!! I'm looking forward to many thousands more!!

What a selection of shots to celebrate your 2000th. It has been a pleasure to journey along with you down this path of enjoying and learning the nuances of photography. Hopefully we'll get to meet at some point. Looking forward to seeing what the next year holds for all of us.
