Hi Jim. Firstly congrats on 2K. Secondly, I want to say thankyou for all the inspiration and encouragement you give us all. I know just what you mean about withdrawal symptoms. Until my discovery of DPS I would never have believed how anyone could experience a communal friendship like this with people we have never met, and unbelievable though it may be (and sometimes difficult to accept or imagine) never will meet. I value the friendship of all of you and in particular yours, especially your comments on posts which anyone can see come from the heart. Rock on the next 2K Jim. Look forward to it, and God bless for now. PAUL

Jim, congratulations on your 2000th post.
These family portraits are absolutely wonderful...I'd be more than happy with them. The food shots really rock...especially the first one. You are an inspiration to me and I am looking forward to many more posts from you.

Congrats on 2K Mr. Mayor!!! I made the mistake of looking at this at lunch time. I am now wondering if you can FedEx me one of those burgers. The Christmas shots are really great...I love that you included the cat in the first one. You've clearly done your job well with the food shots because I came close to licking my monitor. T

Thanks for all of your comments, you're one of the first people who commented on my posts here and I remember thinking, "Wow, this guy seems really nice...if everyone around here is like him I think I'll stick around." Here's to the next 2,000 for you.

Bravo!! Congrats, Jim! Thank you for sharing your fabulous work with all of us! You have captured some amazing images that many of us can only HOPE to imitate, and it says something about your abilities. I am still pretty new the the DPS family, and you've definitely done your part to make me (as well as others) feel welcome here. That says a lot about you as a person. I am honored by your comments and encouragement regarding my meager attempts of capturing images worthy of even being posted here. I'm glad to have you as a DPS buddy! Here's to another 2K!!!

Ok...I'm hungry now. A burger sounds good for some reason...

OMG, I want that burger!

(You know that's a compliment when someone wants to eat the picture, LOL!)

Congrats on 2,000. I see you're already working on your next 2,000!

First off, Jim, congrats on 2000! I always enjoy your posts and always appreciate the comments you have made on mine. It's people like you that make this site rock! I'm sure the family will be more than pleased with your work. I just ate not too long ago but now for some reason I'm feeling like I need a snack. Great job on those burger shots.

Mike

Wow, 2000 posts! Since I'm still new here, I guess I've missed a lot, but I'll look forward to your next 2000. The family portraits are beautiful -- I love the eyes. And that hamburger, whoa! Thanks for sharing your work with us!

It is something special to have you comment on my very first post here at DPS.
I also find it special to be able to comment on your 2000th.

What better way to celebrate a milestone than with family around the tree and a burger that i'd walk ten miles to sink my teeth into.

Congratulations.
