Welcome to posting on DPS and coming out of the shadows!! An excellent first post. Besides all the other great attributes of this shot, I like the grains of sand on your child's fingers. Very clever.

I'd like to "accept" clever, but in reality it's just happenstance. We were at the beach so it's surprising that there wasn't more sand everywhere. It's just one of those moments that were right, and the sand does seem to add to the image a little.
