Talking Nature's Fury

We have had some very extreme weather in Adelaide lately. A heatwave in november....first one ever....hottest day ever in Nov....43 followed up by a tropical electrical storm.....weird!! But it made for my first shot of lightning with my new camera. Just wish i could have gone to get a better vantage point.

Nature's Fury

Feel free to have a look through my flickr page

I love photos of lightning - it's always amazing to see the intricate path that the lightning takes. All that power threading its way to earth.

Now Sydney is experiencing the temperatures that you saw in Adelaide earlier in the week, I'll have to pull our my wide angle to capture some of our inevitable afternoon storms.

Nice first lightning capture.

Wow. I actually really like your vantage point, with the lightning going right through the tree. Amazing!

This is an amazing shot! You should be proud! I don't think there is anything wrong with your vantage point!

I love lightening storms, but that one is just a tad bit close....I think I would have forgotten to push the shudder on this....
