Most of these were taken with my point and shoot, an Olympus 1010 except for the nuthatch, that was with my Evolt 420.

A fantastic set. I love the lines & shapes in the old barn, & its roof is quite interesting. Your nuthatch shot is very special - love its composition & the hinst of color amidst the tree's neutral tones. The sunrise shots are beautiful - the first is glorious, but I also love the silhouetting in the 2nd.

I admit, I have a weakness for old barns! Love that one, especially the roof, and the contrast of the RR sign is wonderful!

Thanks for the comments! I thought that barn was pretty interesting looking with it's roof color and lack of shingles and with the boards falling apart. The RR sign right there really caught my eye, too.
I've noticed the more I get into the hobby, I look at things differently and I'm always looking for something to photograph. The funny thing is, the people I work with think I'm nerdy because I tend to carry a camera everywhere and get excited to take pictures of random things I see during the day. " Ooh, that big oak tree in the middle of that open field would be cool to get a shot of "... Haha! We've all got our interests though, right?
