Default Seiza... Traditional Japanese Sitting Style

Last night was our Aikido Club's Belt Ceremony... and here's the first photo from the ceremony I wanted to share with my DPS friends... I have more... will share once I finish in pp... thanks for looking

Very nice capture Nikki. Great DoF. I can't wait to see the rest of them. I wish I could still sit like that lol

Lovely shot, very poignant. Great effect with the neutral tones.

Hi Dave... thanks so much! I've got so many to go through... but the lighting in the dojo is terrible... Flourecent lighting really sucks but I did adjust my white balance so *fingers crossed* we'll see how they turn out. After about 30 minutes... everyone's feet fell asleep.

Thanks Nicky! I thought it looked better with these tones rather than in color.

Hi Nikki - at least they have some form of padding on the floor .. I like the angle .. looking forward to more

Thanks Paul for your very nice comments I think I was getting funny looks when I was taking this shot... I was pretty much lying down
