Default Sheepdoggin' can get dangerous!

Went to a sheepdog trial this past weekend (we did quite well by the way ;-) 2n place in a pretty big class ;-) Anyway, I was shooting up pretty close and got this shot. I jumped up right after I snapped the second shot, as I kind of like my teeth ;-)

Herbert Holmes Juno

whoa!

Then these are some shots I got that I thought came out kind of nice, with the whispy cloud big sky background.

Oh wow, these are brilliant! Look great in B&W too. Super action shots, & the 4-pooch portrait is stunning! Congratulations on 2nd place too - talented all around!

Thanks Soxaddict ;-) I kind of liked the shot of all of them together as well (there are 5 tho ;-) I just wish I could have mushed the grass down more...I've got a big ol' black and white paint horse, and I think I'm going to take him out to the hill and see if I can get him to pose for a few LOL

Oh yes, I can see the 5th now that I look again! Awesome shot though. Maybe you could do some creative Photoshopping & get him in the picture somehow!

Can't wait to see your Paint too. They're beautiful horses.

The sheep shots are so much fun, but the ones that truly speak to me are the the dog portraits -- you've really captured their alertness and vitality!
