Default NZ's rugged west coast on a good day.........Part one

Angelb and I travelled to Port Waikato on the west coast of the north Island today to capture some rough sea and widlife, however when we got there it was a quiet day on the beach. We spent about 2 hours clicked about 500 times and ended up with these shots I would like to share.

A small wave for the west coast

Wave 3

A smaller wave

Wave two

A cormorant waiting for a fish.

Cormorant

And a wharf waiting for a boat

Wharf

Thanks for viewing

Steve-what beautiful shots. Love the energy in the wave shots.........perfectly composed shots. Am very envious of the cormorant shot-looks so proud and content..........my favourite in the set. And I saw the shot of you, taken by Angelb as well...................how lovely is that!

Very nice set, Steve. The waves crashing really show the power of the sea, and the B&W conversions are very well done. TFS.
