So the key is defying wind and rain? Columbian coffee? Joie de vivre? I ask, Mike, because of your amazing energy! Oddly, very serene photos. The first in some strange way, makes me think of Rembrandt's Aristotle Contemplating the Bust of Homer only I would title this one Homer Contemplating the Portrait of Everyman. It strikes a chord with me on every note of the scale. Oh, and "I'll have what he's having."

Another amazing post, Mke. The museum looks like a great photo op place, and I wish I was there! Love the composition of the first shot, and the one called "good read". The lighting is exquisite in all of these shots, and you have handled them so well in pp. A true professional. Thanks for sharing, mate!

Mike, I like the 1st shot for your capture of the live and still combination, the b/w conversion really compliments the scene. The 3rd shot is excellent also, it is simple but yet sophisticated. Great place to get some great shots Mike!

I don’t even know where to start..there are too many images that are popping in my mind right now..so I am going to give you a rundown:

- i miss Felix..he hasn’t clawed out George eyes by now?
- a good book with a great discount would certainly give me euphoria..
- you should have taken a photo of that crazy guy pushing it with a female attendant (oh my! That was you! Haha)
- you are such a stalker but great capture with the guy and the bust..(i see some similarity in there..)
- I wonder what that guy is reading..he was so deep in thought...he is still interested in that stuff? he’s been reading that for centuries..duh?
- ah the touch box..my first thought was it’s a countdown till the end of the world (how morbid).. I guess they need to do that in order to protect the museum from crazy people (and also count how many are there in the world..which includes you..yeah..i’ll push that one too..three times..)

Tnx Mike! This is just superb..
glad u enjoyed. Jennie it was a very odd day i am sure i missed some good shots with all the chatting and mayhem going on.
I havent really checked who the paintings and staues are by as didnt have my glasses lol!!
thanks
mike
ps thanks for finding the time to write.

hi dv
i waited a while as this guy moved in and out of the busts on their pedestals. Sometimes its rewarding to be patient. The third is just another angle kinda funny really. Its an amazing place.
thanks for posting
