Default Water at the Weir

Nothing special but I was practising with the new camera yesterday lunchtime trying to achieve a longer shutter speed but not overexposing the image ended up with 0.8s at f/29 ISO 100

This is an interesting shot. We just had a new weir build about four city blocks from where we live (rural) which has resulted in a higher level of water fairly consistently in the canal on the other side of the street in front of our house. It really made the canal more beautiful than previously. I noticed an alligator on the other side of the canal basking in the sun. Amazing the thoughts that a single picture can invoke.

Cool shot Tim, love the water. Hope you're enjoying the new toy. Also hope you didn't find any basking alligators like Tom did......

Interesting shot. You've captured good movement on the water. Good shot.
