Default Fall Flower in Sedona

I have the privilege of living in such a photogenic place. I never get tired of Sedona's red rocks, but I do get tired of the same photos of Sedona that I see (and take) over and over. My challenge to myself is to create an album of Sedona photos that express my unique vision of the beauty that surrounds me. Not to be different for the sake of being different, but to simply learn to truly see.

So here's my first attempt -- thanks for looking and I welcome your comments!

Fall flower

Great picture really nice and smooth bokeh, it will even better if you manage to capture all the part into frame, the left side of it was little bit cropped.. Nice Job

Thanks, Nieziam, I appreciate the advice. I noticed the cut off part too, and had another photo of the same flower that was whole but a little fuzzy. So I chose the sharper focus. Thanks for your comment!

Hey, Helen, How like you to find the hint of Sedona in the red rock bokeh but to place the sunflower, fading in glory, in the foreground. This was a beautiful first choice! Give Tenzin a hug from Aunt Linda.

Thanks, Leona and Linda. Glad you liked it.

Linda, Tenzin misses you! You sent a hug but he sends back wet sloppy doggy kisses!

I like the composition of this shot. very well done. I'm in the same frame of mind. Trying to find something different and not take the same shots over and over again. Keep on that quest!
