Default Survival Of The Fittest

I never really realized, but I like monkeys, I guess - or at least taking their pictures! More monkeys for you...

This one came too close to me to scare me enough to throw him the orange I had just taken out...

Like everywhere, 'survival of the fittest' applied here as well. While the big guy ate his mouthful, this one managed to taste the skin
IMG_1312-PPed

... This poor fellow wasn't allowed to come closer, so he just watched, dismayed...

This young guy was, however, allowed closer, though to no avail...

Thanks for viewing.

These are awesome shots...I love the second one. Do these guys hang around in the town or were you somewhere else?

Beautiful series of shots, love the last one and the way you've captured the baby staring at the orange.

Thank you everyone!

leonaashlee: You can expect a few of them in the city (New Delhi) only rarely - hunting for food, as we (Humans) take away their natural habitat. However, these were shot at the Sultanpur national park, Uttar Pradesh (close to Delhi) I visited this weekend.
