The first two are priceless, Erik!! First, the prelude to a yawn, followed by what could be a very productive sneeze!! Great smile in the third, too! Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks Jim. They're not bad for snap shots. Really makes me wish I had a reflector.

Go to Wal Mart and buy a $2 piece of white form board, whiteboard...or heck, even some poster board. It'll do the same thing! Sincerely!

Flank each side of her with a 2x2' piece, and point your flash at one side...it'll reflect all the way across, and light up your world! You can even paint one side of it gold (facing her), and it'll lend a nice warm skin tone.

LOL, I guess what I really meant was a reflector stand... I made a V-CARD out of foam core. Couldn't get it to prop up on the bed. Can't get mom to hold it. She is usually too busy trying to catch her or is shaking her head trying to figure out what I'm up too, when all she really wants is "a couple pictures to put in the album."

Oh, and eventually I'll get something other than the built-in flash. Then I will ridin' High.

I feel your pain...my wife treats me like a leper when I pull out my gear in the house for a shoot! Doesn't your wife understand that a man with a real camera, one that you don't throw away when you're done, will not be satisfied with just a 'snapshot???'

Good luck!!
