Where do spiders go in the winter?
I was back at Silver Creek, the water was low and this fungi covered log was high and dry .. I got a nice surprise and remembered what the macro button was for ..
 this will do in a pinch

I don't like spiders or crawly things at all, but these are great shots! The colors & patterns are brilliant. I tried to avoid looking at Mr Spider.

Love the second one, Ian. I think it is how the little guy is sort of peeking out from underneath the fungi.

Oh, spiders hide in the logs? Here I thought they all wound up in my house
 That is definitely a creepy looking spider.
