Great Set, Pat! I love that third shot. You really captured some great facial expressions. Thanks for sharing these.

Very cute -- all of them! But, what's a "pixie party?"

Thank you guys very much! I had so much fun with these kiddos. #3 is alo my favorite.

Every once in a while I have a Pixie Party. Its kind of like speed dating. You pay $20 and you have a 10 minute portrait session and you get 1 high res image. I even have a timer (good for the hover moms) At a minimum you must have 10 families interested or people wanting more than one session. Then I edit and give them user ID and password and they buy the photos they want or download one pic.

I like doing this b/c I get email addresses (and the age of the kiddo) of people who I KNOW like to get their kids pictures taken and I get to sell them on other stuff. So I am basically getting pd to market myself. Its really all gravy.

As far as the setting goes, you can click on the first two and it shows up on flickr, not sure what happened with the last two. Probably some processing thing that I did, so I have no indea what I did.

The lighting set up is AB camera left, at a 45 degree angle pointing down at 45 degrees also. and a reflector (white side) camera right. I know for some of the these I bounced a flash off the ceiling. I overexposed the shots about 1/2 stop...

A party with those pixies sure must have been fun! All of them are adorable and you got some greats shots going. Absolutely adore that 3rd shot with big brother pinching little bro's face. LOL
