Default My best shot so far??

I had a photographer friend of mine rant and rave about this pic that I took last month. He said it's probably the best shot I've taken and should be on a postcard. What say you?

beautiful shot. love the reflections and the mountains. the only thing I would have liked to see is the windmill shifted to the left. but I could be full of s--t.

Absolutely could be on a postcard. What great colours and reflections. Crop to make the windmill off centre and it will change it from great to perfect (in my opinion). But who listens to me? PAUL

Click on the image and view it larger in picasa to fully appreciate the detail captured, and the quality of the excellent picture. I like it CobraNutt, great clours, pin sharp focus, lovely mountains in the background and wonderful reflections, whats not to like about it.

I'd be inclined to agree with having the windmill further left, but cropping would take out a lot of the lovely mountain range in the background. I say leave it as it is and if you go back to the same spot, take another from a different angle. It's impressive as it is though!

Super shot, Gary! Postcard material for sure. That reflection is perfect. Great color...great background...lines leading you into the shot...

Good form!

I think it's fabulous too...but I would have the windmill a little to one side or the other, but as a postcard, I would buy it for sure...it's wonderful.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I agree with most of you...I wish I could have taken it with the windmill over to the left. Unfortunately, there wasn't a better spot to shoot from that would have allowed me to capture the reflection. I thought about cropping it, and I may do so anyway just for fun, but yes, I would lose the mountains in the background. Hmmm...wonder if I could PS the whole windmill and reflection over to the left! HAHA!

What if you crop the part on the right and leave the mountains in?

But fabulous shot, nice colours and the reflection is great!
