Default You're kidding, Right?

It snowed all weekend. I thought it would be a wonderful time to get a picture of my horses playing in the snow. You know the ones, horses running and snow flying up around them. How hard can those be?

First, you need to get the horses to get their noses out of your face. Nearly impossible in my case.

Then after you get them to back off a bit, you need to convince them to run.

"Run, in this snow? You've got to be kidding, We could get hurt!!"

Very funny, Deb! Your horses are really big lap dogs!!! Love the snow around the eyes on your first two, especially the second with that big brown eye and monster reflection.

just lovely, yeah I was at a farm yesterday and the horse was kicking the fence wanting me to come over to him, he was so friendly and I was a stranger to him, I went over to him of course! I love the composition of the top two, those are great!

Wow! I really love these shots. Especially after my run in with the mustangs last week. These are all really great. Thanks.

Are you in Colorado? We got some nice snow up here (I'm north of Fort Collins) and usually the horses play all the time in it but this time they were so lazy. I was mad haha

These are awesome, really makes me miss having horses, had them growing up but not since I moved out (15+ years ago). I'm hoping some day!

Great pics! They really make me miss my days in Colorado with our horses when I was a kid. Good memories! Thanks for sharing!
