Beautiful images! Unbelieveable how different things can look after fog clears, and what an eerie perspective the sea can have in fog. I love your lighthouse photo - it looks fabulous in both color & B&W.

Thanks. That was late afternoon at the spring Wooden Boat show in Grand Marais MN.

Fog really CAN change the way the sea and (more importantly I think) the shore looks. I worked on a Lobster boat for awhile and I remember watching Halfway Rock Light disappear as a fog bank rolled in. Literally, it was there, then it was totally out of sight. No light. Just the horn. One of the eeriest moments I've ever had.

Oh snap! ...as my kids would say! I love that b/w shot! The white on the rocks makes the shot! Well done!

I like them, very difficult to get decent pictures in fog and you've just done it twice, good job.
I think the first one shades it out of the three, but this is excellent work lewerim and a location that needs revisiting

Thanks Beachcomber. These ended up pretty good given it was with my little point and shoot. Boosting the contrast helped. I am 100% in agreement about this location needing to be revisited.
