This time last year, I told myself " next year, I'm not gonna miss all the beautiful colors and textures of Summer turning to fall. But life has other plans for us sometimes and I missed the opportunity this year to be out there at the peak time.
So, todays outing was just a walk along the river to see what I could see... and although the colors have changed to mostly brown and grays, I was able to find some color holding out a little longer. So here's my set of a search for late fall color and texture. ![]() yucky gray sky, but the tree shouted at me from across the water ME ME !! ![]() There are a few of these beautiful weeping trees at the arboritum ( atop one there's an Osprey nest, though not this one ) facing east this time, I got a blue sky ![]() the northeast got pounded the last few days by ... well a " Nor Easter " storm .. clinging to these berries are some of what the storm left in it's wake ![]() among all the plants who call it quits for the year, there was this tree who had a few flowers still blooming and really pretty orange leaves I took liberties with the editing cause I was bored this afternoon and well cause I can lol ! as always thanks for taking a look, Vin
