Default Mackenzie Beach Series (6 am and on...)

I thought it would be fun to post a transitional series to show how one morning unfolded for myself and my friend, Bob. We were up at 5:30, and on the beach by 6 am. I was battling condensation on the lens etc as the sun came up, so the quality is a little lacking (in my opinion), but i think it paints a good picture of time at Mackenzie Beach, which was just off the resort property. Please note that the times I posted here are only approximate, and based on my judgment (after a night of too many glasses of wine)!

6am (still pretty dark)

6:30ish (getting lighter)
Chesterman Beach _Morning Series-2

7ish (heating up a bit: steam forming)
Chesterman Beach _Morning Series-3

7:45ish (Sun just beginning to peek over the tree tops)
Chesterman Beach _Morning Series-4

Mackenzie Beach looks wonderful. I like the transition in the pictures as the clock ticked inexorably towards sun up, and the results are great.
7 ish is excellent as steam wafts around but 7.45ish is my winner. The light is perfect, the colours just right, the picture, fantastic. Good set Paul

Gorgeous, Paul! I love the second and third. 2nd for its perfection. 3rd for the mist in the distance, with some attention getters in the foreground.

Bravo, Sir, Bravo!

Thanks Steve. I figured it was a fun thing to do for members. That shot was one of the last of the morning. My fingers were numb by hte time I left!

Bravo, Sir, Bravo!
Thanks, Jim. I was all over the place that morning, adjusting the height of my tripod etc, but then, so were about another 5 photographers! Lots of fun hanging with people with similar interests, and even more interesting watching the various angles/ perspectives people were shooting. Sort of poetry in motion. LOL! Take care.

WOW! You sure make getting up super-early tempting, LOL! What a gorgeous set. The colors and compositions are delightful, I keep going back to look at them again.
