Default Remember the Video game Myst?

This reminds my wife and I of a screen shot from that game. The HDR effect gives it the feel of an illustration. It was taken in a Gold Rush Era basement that now serves as a used book store and antique shop.

Corner Antique Office HDR

Thanks for looking!

It does have a surreal look to it. Reminds of Resident Evil. I expect to see a zombie in the corner or something. TFS.

Don't know the video game, but then, I'm 68 yrs old. But I like the image. To me it's like being in a very old bookstore when one of the shelves creak and a section of the shelf slowly opens to a dark stairway that goes down to a dark and damp basement . . . No wait --- that's what happens when I sip too much brandy before bed!

Seriously, it's a great image!!!

That is so cool! It reminds me of one of those hidden object games. I love the colors and light in this.

Alphasco, it actually is a portion of a used bookstore in an underground bare-rock walled Gold Rush Era basement in Sonora, CA. Click my flickriver account link and you can see one that features the books more prominently. This section was devoted mostly to antiques.

Thanks, everyone, for your comments.

This does indeed look like a screen from mist. Very interesting HDR.

Great Capture, I still have Myst, it won't work on my Vista machine though, your right, it does look like a screenshot from Myst!
Thanks for sharing this
