Rust Bucket

Hi Gang,

I am a new member of the forum and love what I have seen from everybody.

Finally worked up the courage to show one of my photos. Just getting back into photography after a rather long absence. My last camera was a Minolta XG9. Just recently purchased a Nikon D90. Much to learn about the digital process and I am positive that this is the right place to do so.

Welcome to DPS!!!!!!! Like that shot a lot............strong image and the sepia works really well. Digital photography is very liberating isn't it.

Indeed.

I find the dodge and burn process a lot easier too

Welcome to DPS, Stormfan! This is a great first shot!! I'd say you've got a running start in the digital age. You are correct...this is an amazing place for someone to go from beginner, to highly paid professional...all in one venue.

I love that shot. Just a hint of color. Well done. Looking forward to more. There are a lot of different social groups, too, with even more great people!

Welcome to the DPS family stormfan.

This is a fantastic shot to start with, I love shots of trucks especially old ones like this. The sepia treatment works really well with it too. TFS I look forward to seeing more from you.
