Default First Photos with Canon 7D

I treated myself well beyond my skill set and budget to a Canon 7D.

The other photo can be found here. November Walk | FlixelPix

I have only taken 6 photos with the camera and I am already completely loving it although the controls are very different from the 500D.

A stack of learning and excitement ahead

David

Beauties! The tree shot is a cracker, & is perfect in B&W. Love the solitude there and the patterns in the field.

Thanks everyone,

I wasn't sure about the black and white - here is a version in colour.

Don't sweat it, Digmo. It's much better to buy more than you need up front. Otherwise, because of the quick learning curve you'll experience here on DPS, you'll find yourself wanting MORE in 6 months! I've had to grow into my D3...had it for a year, and still a long way to go. But, I didn't have to keep upgrading!

I love the color one. Great vignetting, and bright, vibrant green. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Default I am also falling in love with the capabilities of the 7D

I love your photos! 2 totally different moods between the B&W and the color version!

I haven't had much time to spend playing with my new camera either but the photos I have taken with it justify my investment!
