Hi everyone,
There pics are part of the pics I took on Oct 17th, i.e. the Diwali festival in India. All of these are amateurish and taken from my roof with a cheap zoom lens. Banana tree silhouette - those lights/bokha in the background are from fireworks. This pic was a total accident as I was trying to capture the fireworks themselves but AF liked the tree better. I have to agree : ) ![]() In the background - There are a lot of decorative lighting everywhere on Diwali. This is a good example. The bokha in the background if from the next house in the line of sight. ![]() A necklace of stars - I love this pic. For me it conveys the basic feeling of India i.e. brilliant colors, chaos, confusion, flourishing despite of hardship and some other that I cant formulate into words... ![]() Decoration Lights - These are one of the light I put up myself : ) ![]() I hope you guys like these pics. If you would like to view more Diwali pics like Fireworks or the other pics in this 'lights' set or see my flickr home here.

Thanks or your comment. I am new to photography so this Diwali presented me with a lot of things to shoot. I was frantically pointing and this and that, missing most of it but capturing some.
