I was going through some of my old pics and ran across a couple that I thought I'd share. These were taken with my Canon SD600 point-n-shoot. My dog found this little guy in front of my garage. It was really dark outside, so I grabbed a flashlight from the toolbox for some lighting and held it overhead with one hand, and snapped pictures with the other. I'm sure my neighbors were amused! Mr. Katydid didn't seem to care what I was doing. He simply sat there cleaning his antennae while I took pictures and video.

Thanks everyone! I was amazed at the sharpness and detail that I was able to get with the little point-n-shoot.
LOL! Probably watching for my dog, Scooter. He was checking out the katydid and pushing it around with his nose before I saved the little green critter! Not too sure he enjoyed the prodding!

Clear and sharp. I like the texture on it's back. Opportunity came straight at your garrage and you made the best of it.

Nice shot, Gary! Flashlight painting at its finest!! If somebody shined the equivalent light in OUR eyes, we'd think we were being abducted by aliens!!! Great shot!
