Default Revisiting Salem Presbyterian at sunset

We're having nice sunny days so I returned to Salem on the way home. Here is a picture of the church.

DSC_6181

A celtic cross standing in the rear meditative courtyard denoting the Alpha and the Omega

DSC_6151

I included this to further explain how I got the last picture...I took a version of this last time and wanted to try it again.....On both sides of this church are three windows exactly like this. I stood at the farthest rear window on the right side of the building and took the shot through the church building on a diagonal catching sunset lighting through the first window on the left side of the building(not the window on the front)

DSC_6183

I think that this is a bit clearer and the colors a bit more pronounced than the last shot I posted. The reflection of the darker sky and the trees and house is off of the window I am next to and is reflecting what is behind me. Do you like it or is it confusing to look at?

Hiyas Patrick, great set .. love the cross shot.

I like the last photo, it's somewhat abstract and hold the attention.. not a normal straight up shot of a church window, more of an art shot.. well done Bud

Great shots, Patrick. I think these DID work out better. I love the lighting on the cross. ...and the sunset reflecting on the windows in the first is top notch! Super shots.

Great shots, again, Patrick. Love the lighting, and how it enhances the mood of each shot. The celtic cross is beautiful. TFS.

Hi Patrick! I like the Celtic cross a lot..the lighting enhanced its details..beautiful reflections on the windows too..tnx for returning and sharing some more..

Note: I think Jim is making us all jealous in meeting Linda (with hummingbirds too!!!) and he is succeeding..
