Default My First Attempt At Water Drops

I have been wanting to try this for a while and now I did. It was a ton of fun, too. I am a novice but I was happy with the results. I used milk, an eye dropper, blue and yellow color diffusers on my SB600, my Nikon D40 and my remote flash trigger.

55mm lens
1/500 sec
Shutter Priority
Apeture=5.6

I just got my new speedlight and these are the first shots I've taken with it. I took around 12 pics in all but only 3 or 4 turned out because the camera and flash did not fire with my remote. Don't know why.

Comments? Tips?

These look great! Did you try lowering the angle of your shot to get a more pronounced height to your drops? Not sure if that would work with the setup you had though.... Nice job though. I love these types of shots.

Thanks everyone...that's as high as my tripod would go. Next time maybe I'll lower the plate. I could also raise the dropper so the drops would fall hard and splatter more.
