Got bored today and decided to play with shooting in manual using only natural light. The profile one I actually used the monochrome setting on my camera and shot it in black and white - never did that before, I like the result! The other one of her looking down I converted. Not sure if I like the color one, I may convert that one too, LOL! Thanks so much to Ruthie Mae for her tips on exposure and BW conversion - when I grow up, I wanna be just like her! :-)

...me too if I get to take pictures as good as these. Susan, congratulations, some of your best work, these would look lovely printed, framed and hanging on the wall. I like that you took the b/w ones with the camera settings set for b+w, I've never tried that but will now. I like the colour portrait or your daughter, and congratualtions to her as well, Victoria looks adorable, well done to you both Steve |
