Default Lost a dear friend yesterday way too young...

Yesterday we learned our dear friend Michael lost his battle with a very rare condition he got about 2 years ago. He had been fighting it aggressively (even bone marrow transplant with his little brother) but it proved to be too much for him in the end. He was married last spring and has a beautiful step son that adores him. His dad raised him and his brother by himself from when the boys were babies. He did a fantastic job with these two boys. They are wonderful young men. Michael was one of the kindest men you could ever meet. I will miss his smile and his great sense of humor.
Gods speed Michael!
I don't know if this is the right area for this but I wanted to share a tribute video I made to honor all of Michaels good times at the track racing with us. Feel free to let me know what you think.
Take care and be sure to tell your friends hello and that you care about them. Time is short.

That was a very well done tribute video, Michelle. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sounds like a quality guy, and I'm sure he will be missed terribly.

This was a perfect venue for sharing this tribute, by the way!! What better place than with all your DPS friends to lend a shoulder....

Sorry to hear of your loss, but what a fabulous video tribute. I'm sure his family will be delighted to see what a wonderful job you've done here.

Thank you all so very much, I can feel the warmth of your hugs and concern. DPS is indeed a wonderful place full of many more of my dear friends! I am blessed to be liked and cared for by so many. Michael did live life to the fullest, that is for sure. His life may have been short but it was fuller then most who live to ripe old ages. We should all be so lucky! Thanks again!
