Default Vintage Camera: Soligor Reflex

From the 1950's. It was my grandfather's, which might explain my own interest in photography.

Soligor by ~Cojaro on deviantART

I hope it's alright to embed this from deviantART on here. It's much easier on me; I don't have to upload the same image twice (one to deviantART, one to photobucket.) That, and I don't have a Yahoo! account (and, thus, a Flickr account.) Clicking the image will take you to the deviation page, where you can view it at 900x1345.

Anyone else got some vintage cameras?

I have a Kodak Tourist, but in my effort to clean it, I dropped the shutter mechanism (a nice Kodamatic, at that) and I don't know how to open it to fix it.

Anyone know how to open an old Kodak Kodamatic shutter? If not, no loss; I bought the camera for a mere $6

No luck, but thanks anyway! I've searched quite a bit, but nothing about disassembling the Kodamatic. All the other shutters have three screws on teh front that make disassembly easy. Not so with the Kodamatic :'(

I love vintage cameras. I like the historical feeling of photography as a continuing and constantly changing art form.

Have you used your Soligor Reflex?

Love these. The Soligar has the same style as a diner from the '50s

Not yet. I don't even know when it was last used.

That might help if I can get the face off the shutter. See in the second picture? That's what it looks like. I can't open it. There aren't any apparent screws on the front or on the back. :[
