Default Post from the Road

Hi everyone. I am on Vancouver Island in the Tofino area, and have been taking tons of photos. I figured I would post some while I had a moment. Like usual, I am putting up an eclectic collection! I am not sure why the sky in the first one is a bit pixelated as the original definitely is not, but I thought this would give you an idea of what the area is like. Thanks for stopping in to check them out.

The last shot... the color contrast and the shadow of the chain, awesome

Dear Paul! I really like this set! Especially 2 B/Ws! You're getting better and better with BW stuffs, my friend!
Cheers

These remind me of Ruby Beach in Oregon. I love the ruggedness of this coast. You can practically feel the force of the winds. Very nice.

Thanks picnik. I really like the colour contrast on that last shot as well. Those oars were screwed to the side of one of the cabins at this resort.

Thanks Butch. Practice practice practice on those B&W's! Glad you enjoyed them, my friend.

HI Linda. Can't say I have ever heard of Ruby Beach, although I am sure we drove through as we were heading north home from California along the coast. The wind was not too bad here today, and the waves were not as big as I have seen in the past in this area. Thanks for the comments. Got to go to bed! Bye for now.

I like these, the oars probabaly fourth and the totem third. Equal top guns are the beach shots. I like the b/w treatment of the second and the cold windswept feel you've captured, and now I've changed my mind, the outright fave is the first. I like the colours, the isolation, the fact the person is off to the right but walking into the space, I like the low angle and the depth and distance beyond you've captured. I like theres a lot of sky and a low horizon, I'd have this on my wall Paul
