Talking Meet Jack R.

I got a 50 mm AF f/1.8 lens for my b day only to find out it doesn't have autofocus when used with the d3000, BUT after manually focusing and getting these pics...I think I may stick with it and not change it out for the 35mm f/1.8. Whaddya guys think? It's my first prime lens.

These are my pups by the way..Geronimo (the Jack Russell) and (Peanut Butter) the mini Dachshund. I love them to pieces! Enjoy!

True Puppy Love

the softer side of a Jack Russell

Game on.

Very nice pictures, the last one is typical Jack Russell as a rule they are "wild wicked and willful" but even so ours (now gone to doggy heaven ) was a great family dog
I,m sure you will enjoy your new lens.

They are nice shots. However, I'd be inclined to move to the 35 1.8 myself over the 50. But that's me! Keep up the great work!!

Welcome to DPS!!

That's good to know! I know auto focus is a great thing, unfortunately I am still learning about cameras and am not sure how the 35 will influence my shot...
Thanks for the feedback!

I loved him from the start. Never had a pet that kept me running so much! I think everyone should have a jack russell as training before they have kids!
