Default The majestic Whitetail

Been a while since I had anything worth sharing. Saw this big guy about150 ft off the side of the road while traveling between work sites and just had to stop and "shoot" him.

1/640, F/10, ISO 400. 300F/4+1.4 TC

Even the grasses are great in thi sfabulous shot....love the stately pose

What a beautiful animal! You caught him in a perfect pose that shows his magnificent antlers to perfection and also shows his swollen neck which shows he's in rut.
As soon as I figure out how to post pictures on this site I'll post one that shows a blacktail doe sitting on her butt like a dog. I've never seen a deer sit like that before.
