Default A fistful of sand !!

A shot which I thought I should try sharing to see if it was worth capturing..it jus came out of nowhere...since I have been shooting from this place like for eons and couldn't find anything that could excite me a bit more...so I tried this...

If even a single one of ye thinks this as an attempt to a landscape shot...(not necessarily a beautiful one)...my work is well done then...

DSC08323

What I did was jus pour some dirty sand on a flat surface as ye can see...so that it may look like a mountain...(I tried..)..and shot playing with few settings that I have been offered on my P&S...

DSC08320

I knw these are not excellent concerning the technical details...but yet the name of the forum encouraged me to jus share it and btw ye all know this is not something to put on "How I took it" forum...coz those shots are sooo awesome...and this is not sumthing I m telling ye how to, this is sharing and Sharing is fun.....

P.S. As always....thanx for watching...and for yer valuable suggestions...

Wow, I never would have guessed! I guess sometimes it pays to be bored, from that comes creative thinking. Good job!

That is a very effective idea Shishir. I definitely wouldn't have guessed until I saw your set-up. Very clever - in fact so clever I may have to pinch the idea!
