Great colour contrast - love number two. Suggest you might try square cropping around the action in the first one and the subject on the second one, to "concentrate the eye"??

Thank you for the suggession ijbrewst. (But i din't quite understand what do u mean by try square cropping around the action in the first one). Since i'm new to photography its a bit difficult to understand what square cropping is.... Could you plz help me with that..

I just meant, if you have a photoediting programme, to crop your first image, using a square frame, to just include say, the arms from the LH side and the child being launched into the air. Square frames often make great images. Similarly, look at making a square frame around the boy in the second, excluding the distracting beach bits around the edge of the subject.

(there is probably a way of showing you my intentions, but not sure how I would do this - not yet familiar enough with this site or Flickr)
