Default Practice, practice, practice

Practice seems to be what we all need, no matter what skill we are trying to improve.

Last weekend, I went to a horse show that is put on by kids 9-19. The club is a county sponsored club that offers city kids the opportunity to interact with horses, even if they don't own their own. Some of these kids are just amazing. And practice got them that way.

I, on the other hand, need more practice shooting in low light with things moving at speed. That's what these shots are, my practice.

Not for everyone's taste but I like how just the riders face is in focus.

Hi Deb! Glad to see you out shooting. You've pulled off some pretty good shots in tough conditions. I especially like the action in your third one.

I like these pictures, the action of the rider in the third picture is amazing and it is a terrific capture. I would be pleased if I had taken these pictures in low light.

everything is practice Deb, that's my way of thinking... it all counts for something.

For practice , these are pretty darn good.. and I know exactly what you mean, shooting a wedding reception in a dark catering hall with people dancing is really tough.. I can not imagine what shooting horses would be like ( well I can a little, I'd be really frustrated lol )

I LOVE the last shot , outstanding sense of movement, the red color really makes it pop and AWESOME focus on the face !.. that's a very cool photo !!

Great shots, great colors too. I think my favorite is the last one, I love the motion blur with only one face in focus, awesome!
