Jantung Pisang (in Malay) literally translates as 'Heart of Banana'. I have never heard what its called in english before, but if I have to guess, it's Banana Flower.
Here in Malaysia, they are boiled and eaten with chili and rice. It doesn't taste that good without the chili, though. Sparda http://digital-photography-school.co...r-picture.html |

Ahhh..we shred the young ones and cook them with coconut milk..with a kick of chili..one of my favorite dish..
we call them banana heart because of its shape and color..but I know it is really a flower..you really made it look like one..good detail and texture..nice depth and I love the bokehs..a really nice shot.. Note: what’s with the penchant for monkeys and bananas? Lol..just kidding..:P
