Default Hawk, hawk, hawk, and loving it.

As some of you know, I drove down to a small village called Mayaro last weekend. While driving I was lucky enough to see this hawk swoop down and pick up a crab crossing the road. He flew into a coconut stump, not 30ft. away from the van and ate his catch while I caught his moves. Hope you enjoy viewing. I certainly enjoyed capturing the action.

Good looking bird! I've never seen a hawk like that before.

Good work and good timing, too.

I really like the pose and detail in your 3rd photo.

Michael, good captures! You should be so lucky to witness such an event. I once watch an eagle swoop down to the lake and snatch a fish and proceed to devour it on shore. Needless to say I did not have a camera at the time.
