Default Auto HDR in-camera samples

Just wanted to share some samples from the new Sony a550 in-camera auto HDR function for those that are interested in seeing the results.

HDR - Photographs at cwachtel.com

For those wondering how it works, the camera takes two consecutive exposures -- one based on the meter reading and another based what the camera thinks should be compensated for (auto) or what manual setting I choose (+1, +1.5, +2, etc.).

This function is quite addicting and the results have been great, in my opinion. I welcome your feedback!

Chris

Very nice! That's a great feature to have built in! I shoot nearly everything in sets of three because I love messing with the HDR processing so much!

Default Thanks!!!

Thanks everyone, I appreciate you taking the time to look and for the kind words!!!

@FoG: yes, all the images in the HDR gallery were captured in-camera. I don't do much HDR in post, so this function in the a550 really rewards my laziness
