Default Yellow Waterlily

Found this flower open in my fish pond today. I love waterlilies I think they are very pretty.

Michele these are gorgeous. I also LOVE waterlilies. These are so soft and beautiful. I also love your tiny starburst in #1. But #4 is my fav. I love the lighting and I swear I see the slightest hint of a heart shape in the middle. Could just be me.

I love these waterlilly photos and the way the centre is lit up. How did you do that? Very effective. We saw a waterlilly pond in the Kimberley recently, they were stunning.

Thankyou Michelle, they really are beautiful, aren't they? And this particular plant is fantastic because it just keeps giving me flowers and staying alive.

When they are flowering on mass they are spectacular. The lighting was just dappled sunlight shinning through a tree, I just made sure there was light in the centre of the flower.

You have used the available light here perfectly Its as if you somehow got the center of each flower to glow Great work.
