Default More for the aviation buffs...then I'll stop...no really!!

Here are a few of my favorite shots of the Blue Angels. I've posted a couple of them before, but I did some heavy PP to bring out their best features so I could print them in 11x14 and add them to my portfolio! Take a look at the detail in the larger images on Flickr! Thanks for looking!!

Jim, you have found a way to make aeroplanes look exciting, vibrant and well worth taking more than one look at, they really must be a passion you love because it shows in your work. I adore that third picture it is amazing.

OK, before I comment on the shots I just have to say one thing...FLY NAVY!!!! Sorry, gotta represent for the hubby who was a 'nosepicker' on E-2Cs for 6 years.

These shots are awesome!!! I love the ones on the flight line. The angle on the second shot is really cool.

Great shots!! Love the one with the backwash, I have a similar shot of the Thunderbirds. You did a great job with the PP. My son starts pilot training for the AF in a couple of weeks. So these shots mean a lot to me. Maybe he'll be flying something similar someday!!

Jim, I used to be a fan of military aircraft model kits, and i wish I could see them with my naked eyes one day! You're a lucky person mate! And what you got there is totally awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Jim, these are just outstanding. The contrast with the mountains behind really adds an amazing dimension to the shots.

Sorry I missed last week's celebration when you all got together! I was in Sacramento. Let me know when you're free this week...we'll have lunch at Tohono Chul!
