Default Changing Times

My normal subjects seem to have vacated the area. So with no birds around and lots of flowers now I've started shooting a few. I've only shot flowers once in the past so I'm breaking new ground and lots to improve upon. If the birds stay away maybe I can figure out the flower shots.

I have no idea what any of these flowers are, but are growing in the wild. The first is from a tree that is covered with blooms at the moment.

Golden in golden light...

Golden Flower, Golden Light

The next two only open at night, as soon as the sun rays touch them in the morning they close up. Look like a morning glory, but the plant is not a vine but more of a bush.

Totally different looking plant, but bloom is similar in shape to the one above but a different color.

Night Blues...

Blue Night Bloom

the good thing about flowers is they sit and don't complain. I love the first one the best. I am a flower photograph-holic myself, so enjoy your new sideline.

Flowers....Fred. Fred....Flowers. Surprised you haven't made each other's acquaintance before this but better late than never! Jeepers these are good. Very few blue flowers here in the desert so I have saved your blue one to my favorites so I can enjoy it again and again. Eyes refreshed.

Nice job buddy.... You and flowers must get together more often. I really like the first one. The way you have the focus set up on it, my eye is drawn right into the middle. It' seems to be framed... I like it.

I like these especially the last two. I like the plain background and pure colours and detail the second is favourite with that slightly washed out/ particially desaturate look, nice set FDCPR

Fred, you do flowers very well! Love the delicate pink and grey of your second one.

Very nice! I really love the second one - the colors, the focus, the composition just all comes together really well. Thanks for sharing.
