Default Back Lit Kigh Key Portrait

This is one of the shots I'm most pleased with so thought I'd share it. The lighting conditions were strongly back lit so I had to go for spot metering to expose my daughter's face properly.. and as a result I love the blown highlights in her hair and background. Although this was posed she was being pretty uncooperative so i'm very please I was able to dial in the settings quickly and capture this fleeting moment. Converted to B&W and sharpened in Lightroom as part of the raw conversion.

Deep in Thought
