Default Around the House

I went traipsing around the yard today, looking for something to shoot. When I first started out, there seemed to be nothing of promise. I just started taking pictures, and ended up with more than I thought I would. Funny how that works out, sometimes.

Hi Martha, the second shot is my fav of the set, but I am interested in knowing the type of fruit in the first shot. TFS

Martha, I really like the first two shots and having said that the 2nd would be my fav! Great Focus and slendid DoF! I take shots about anything around my house too but have never produced anything like these.

Oh Martha well done they are gorgeous. isn't it amazing what you can find. All of them are stunning and lovely bokeh's. The last one is my favourite. i love the colours and composition of that one. You sure have a great eye for a nice photograph. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Dave.

Stunning, Martha! Love the soft pastels of your second. It's amazing what one can find when one has that shutter pushing itch! Gotta get out and scratch it!

Martha, these are fabulous, especially the first two! I'm so lovin' the shallow DOF. Nice stuff!

Thanks, Michael. I was worried the second one was too abstracty, but I loved the colors. That is actually a berry on a burning bush. All the leaves have fallen off, but the bushes are still covered in the berries. A feast for the birds!

Hey Martha. Love the set as it brings me back to one of my recent posts. I would say the first and the second are the ones that really stand out for me, although there is something interesting about the third, and it may be the back-lighting. The bokeh on the first and second is awesome, as well as the clarity, and depth of field in both of these shots. Were you using a macro lens here, as it sure looks like it, especially on the second shot. Thanks for sharing these.
