Bummer that you didn't get a huge turnout, but it's the grads' loss! If only they'd known that they could have had portraits as lovely as these. Nice work, Paul. Really like the lighting on the first.

Thank you very Susan. I think the problem was that majority of the grads were kids, who just graduated high school a couple years ago.

[/QUOTE Thank you very much Steve.]That was the other major issue, to make it even better some girls came in to the room and wanted to use my background. Go figure I said NO.

Thank you Lori. They want us to come back and do the next one in April. They have to make some changes for me to say yes to that one.

Hi Paul,
Im sorry you had a terrible turnout ..my last one, which was for a church banquet, was the same...everyone had their p&s cameras and only one person came up for a photo...i was so disgusted after being there at 5.45pm to set up and i didnt leave till 9pm. .I made a whole $10. People just dont realise how much effort it takes to set up backgrounds and lights and a table with laptop and printer etc...you know how it goes...you go home and feel like giving up...but all you can do it put it down to experience, more practise with people etc...and hope next time will be better...your work is outstanding..maybe you should display a framed collage of your work so everyone can see how wonderful your portraits are.It truly was their loss.
