Smile Manila, Philippines

Hello! Just wanna share my practice shots. I just walked along one of the busy streets in Manila and took pictures of stuff around. Here are what I consider as my "best" shots.

Comments would be very much appreciated. I'm only starting out so anything would helpful.

These are the yachts "parked" in the yacht club along Manila Bay.

This is the busy Roxas boulevard. I wanted to get the effect of the moving car lights but I didn't have a tripod with me so please excuse the blurred areas.

The Star City is one of the well-known amusement parks in Manila. I took this with the LX3's HDR scene mode.

Another view of the Roxas Boulevard. Again I wanted to capture the lights of the cars.

Thanks for looking!

These are beautiful shots. The first is my favorite, with the color of late sunset and the boats at rest for the night. Thanks for sharing these.

Hi everyone!!! I just registered today. I've been reading about digital photography all over the web for the past month. Looking for tips on how to buy the appropriate camera for a rookie like me. Hope you can give me ideas. I have my inclinations on the Nikon D90. Comments are welcome. Thanks in advance.
