Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the original movie of course. A coworker dropped his mug at work and it split in half so I took advantage of that and created the shot above

Thanks for all of the great comments.

We are all still quite amazed at the fact that it was a very clean cut as if it was made and not by accident. My coworker tells me that he moved his backpack and that the mug was pushed by it and it fell to the ground from the desk level, the floor has a carpet...

The shot was lit with available light from the overhead fluorescent office lighting and using my cubicle wall for backdrop.
