Default Unknown Purple Flower...need help naming it.

We have several different flowers blooming inside the house. I am not sure what these are. If you know the name of this I would appreciate help.

Gorgeous. I absolutely love purple. I think its the purple my best friend has been looking for-for her wedding next year!

It does look like an African violet, bit its definately a beautifully captured and presented pair of pictures, nicely done Duane

Very nice picture, Duane. I really like the second perspective. Glad others could identify it because I wouldn't have had a clue

African violet is correct. Don't water the leaves. (Just water at ground level- if you get the leaves wet, they brown out.) You obviously have the plant in the right light and beautifully photographed!

Thanks for the info Bob, I guess my wife has been doing a good job watering, because I have never seen any browned out leaves on it!

Likewise I'm glad the green-fingered friends of DPS could help you because I didn't have a clue as to its name. But I do love your shots, as usual! Gorgeous colours too.
