Living in Southeast Texas we don't get as much of the fall coloring that the more northern states get. I still went to a local park hoping to find some hint of the fall colors.
This is for Leona. I thought of her when I saw this as I know she likes trees. I should have gotten further back so I could get more of the knots that were on it. A very knotty tree---- ![]() Thought I had found some fall color here, but when I got to the other side of the lake I saw that the tree was actually dead. I like the reflections tho---- ![]() The bridge over the same little lake--- ![]() I found my fall color as I was leaving the lake area. Poor thing was just laying on the ground waiting for me. For some reason I really like this shot---- ![]() Enjoy. Comments always welcome and appreciated.

Thank you all very much. Your words mean a lot to me.
LOL@Hayward. I didn't mean Leona was 'knotty'. I meant she likes trees. LOL

Very nice! Eventho the tree was dead it made a wonderful image of fall colors. I love the reflection of it. I am orginally from central Texas so I know what you mean about the lack of fall colors. Seems like the trees are green one day and dormant the next. I'm in the desert now and we have to look even harder to find any fall foliage.
