I am starting to squirm a little less when I see your creepy crawlies in close up. These are terrific shots Michael.

I love those little Jumping Spiders, they have the biggest Eyes! They couldn't bite you if they tried (I don't think)

I think most of us are uncomfortable around spiders, but they fascinate us as well. Thanks for your comments. as well.

Thank You Chiwalatta! These little Jumping spiders are really quite friendly and harmless.

PS...what was the aperture on the first one?
Thanks Jim, I find that F/16 at F/125 works well to achieve the DOF I'm after, I used the Canon MT-24 ex II flash set at 1/4 power as well.

Then there are the gossamer wings....we'll land this plane and save that conversation for another day. Wow!
Thank You Lindyanna! I think one of the things I love about these Small Creatures is the diversity in them. We see an insect and usually just move on, but when we see it up close, we can appreciate that diversity in patterns, colors and shapes.

Thank You ZannieGirl! Sometimes the Flash Unit causes some minor reflections in their eyes.
